Armenian Diaspora Minister <b>Hranush Hakobyan</b> held a meeting with Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Tekeyan Center Fund, Vardan Uzunian and Fund Director Armen Tsulikyan on February 15 to discuss the Fund’s initiative aimed at establishing the Armenian library of archival documents, including historical and archival materials of Diaspora.
The minister proposed to create a working group and elaborate a full-fledged program.
Issues related to conference on Western Armenian Language in Diaspora to be organized in April were also in focus. The conference should pave the way for the creation of Armenian language and history textbooks for Diaspora.
The parties also referred to the involvement of Tekeyan Center Fund in all-Armenian conferences and all-Armenian Youth Olympiads and stressed the importance of creating a database of Diaspora businessmen working in Armenia.
