NATO WISHES BE CLOSER TO ARMENIA

We hope “Cooperative Best Effort-2003” military training opening today in Armenia will contribute to the establishment of closer links between the NATO and Armenia. Commander-in-Chief of the united NATO forces in Europe, US military forces commander in Europe James Johns told “Mediamax” agency. “Conducting of such maneuvers is very valuable in the light of raising the level of the cooperation between the NATO and the partner-states”, – the general said. “We are glad that Russia decided to participate in these maneuvers thus reflecting the new spirit of the cooperation established between Russia and the NATO”, – the Commander-in-Chief of the NATO forces in Europe stated.
