A group of experts of the Council of Europe engaged in studying ethnic minority rights record of Armenia has arrived in Yerevan. In the course of the three-day visit the group members will have to determine whether Armenia fulfills the demands of the corresponding international convention signed by the Republic’s representative. CE experts will meet with the leaders of various ethnic communities, non-governmental organizations, parliamentarians, representatives of some ministries and departments. Today the delegation members met with local mass media representatives to get to know their viewpoint on the state of affairs of the ethnic minority rights protection.
