US STATE DEPARTMENT CONFIRMED AZERBAIJAN SIGNED AGREEMENT ON GUARANTEEING PROTECTION FOR US SERVICEMEN

The US State Department has made public the list of countries, which signed an agreement with Washington on guaranteeing protection to US servicemen from their domestic laws. As the release spread by the State Department press service says, Azerbaijan, Georgia and a number of other CIS states are among the 38 countries, which had signed the document. According to the report, some countries asked not to mention them. As reminded by “Arminfo” agency, the agreement saves US military from investigation and punishment by local law-enforcement bodies.
