“Meetings of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan are very important for making progress in the negotiations on peaceful settlement of the Karabakh conflict.” As reported by “Mediamax” agency, it was stressed in the OSCE activity annual report spread at the meeting of OSCE Minister Committee that started work in Bucharest today. The document noted that “though some progress was made in the course of the negotiations, which took place between November 2000 and April 2001, a decision was made in May to postpone the next meeting for the Presidents to have an opportunity to prepare their compatriots to the concessions necessary for coming to a long-term peace agreement.”
