ARMENIAN PRIME MINISTER CONSIDERS GOVERNMENT COOPERATION WITH OPPOSITION POSSIBLE

Armenian prime minister Andranik Margarian did not rule out the opportunity of future cooperation with opposition forces represented in the newly elected parliament – “Justice” bloc and “National Unity” party. In his words, working together with the opposition is possible in the government. The premier told journalists that in the course of his recent meeting with leader of “National Unity” party Artashes Geghamian that very issue had been discussed. “On the whole, I am satisfied with the meeting results, as the dialogue was rather constructive,” – A. Margarian said, adding they managed to overcome party ambitions. It should be noted that opposition deputies do not participate in the work of the new parliament started yesterday yet.
