NKR NATALITY RATE HARSHLY INCREASED

The number of children born in Nagorno Karabakh Republic during January-September this year has 8,4% increased in comparison with the same period last year. At the same time, mortality decreased 7,4%. As reported by “Arminfo” agency, NKR population natality for the mentioned period made 937 persons, which 27,3% exceeds the same index last year. According to the information by NKR State Board of Statistics, State Register and Analysis, the unemployment rate for the period of January-September 2001 made 6,2%, and work recourses formed 76916 persons. 46,5% of employed citizens work in organizations, enterprises, budgetary offices and 51% are engaged in own business, 94% of which – in agricultural sphere.
