At a press conference in Los Angeles after signing the protocol on understanding between Armenia and California Armenian Foreign Minister Vartan Oskanian concerned the topic of the lately shown contradiction between the Armenian National Committee and the Armenian Assembly. In his words, the disagreement between the two main Armenian lobbyist organizations in the United States told negatively on the process of passing a decision on waiving Section 907 by the Congress. Oskanian also noted, the Armenian Foreign Ministry planned to work with both organizations to try to establish cooperation between them.
