Leaders of “Committee for defending world Azeris’ rights” organization demanded form the Iranian government to review relations with Armenia and cease rendering aid to that country until the Armenian-Azeri conflict is settled. As reported by “Turan” agency, the today’s statement made by the committee expressed protest against Armenian President Robert Kocharian’s visit to Iran fixed at the turn of November. The authors of the statement consider the cooperation of the Iranian authorities with Armenia has anti-Azeri orientation. At the same time they point out the statement of Iranian Foreign Minister Kyamal Harrazi that the Armenians and Persians have the same origin. “Committee for defending world Azeris’ rights” organization is founded by emigrants form the southern provinces of Iran, inhabited by Azeris and is now based in Baku.
