IN NEW YORK VARTAN OSKANYAN MET FOREIGN MINISTERS OF RUSSIA AND CUBA AND HAD MEETING WITH LEADERSHIP OF JEWISH COMMITTEE OF AMERICA

Armenian foreign minister Vartan Oskanyan who participated in the 56 session of the UNO General assembly met his Russian colleague Igor Ivanov in New York. The ministers discussed the Karabakh conflict peaceful settlement negotiation process. During the conversation the ministers also discussed international issues including the struggle against terrorism. Vartan Oskanyan also met with the representatives of Jewish committee of America. The parts discussed the issues regarding the cooperation of Armenian and Jewish communities of America as well as the outlooks of the relation development between Armenia and Israel. At the meeting with the foreign minister of Cuba Felipe Peres Roke Oskanyan spoke mainly about the cooperation ways of Yerevan and Havana in international organizations.
