ARMENIAN MINISTER OF ENERGY DID NOT EXCLUDE PASSING ELECTRICITY DISTRIBUTION ENTERPRISES TO TRUSTING MANAGEMENT

If the tender on privatization of electricity distribution enterprises of Armenia is not held, passing them to trusting management is not excluded. “Arka” agency reports it making reference to an interview given by Minister of Energy of the Republic of Armenia Karen Galustian to “Prometheus” television company. In his words, taking into consideration the situation in the world after the events of September 11 and the resulting change of the investment climate, the contest may be held a year later. At the same time K.Galustian noted necessary works were in process now for preparing for the tender. “The most important thing is that the privatization of the electricity distribution enterprises should be held within the business sphere,” – K. Galustian said.
