Six Armenian weightlifters won 7 gold, 5 silver and 1 bronze medals at the European Weightlifting Championships, which finished in Minsk, Belarus, on April 11.
“I am happy and proud. Our team proved most efficient. it is wonderful when the results surpass expectations,” coach Ashot Mkhitaryan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter.
He also informed that after a short rest the weightlifters will start training for the World Championships to be held in Turkey in September.
