Airplanes of Armenia as well as the CIS countries and a number of the Middle East countries that do not have automatic system to prevent mid-air collisions and to secure flights are still allowed to use Europe’s airspace. It has already been informed that “Eurocontrol” gave the CIS countries including Armenia permission to fly until September 30, 2001. This time there are no stipulated restrictions and this, according to the civil aviation central directorate press center, is connected with events that take place in the world now.
