RUSSIAN FUEL FOR RECHARGING ARMENIAN NUCLEAR POWER PLANT SUPPLIED TO ARMENIA

Nuclear fuel for the recharging of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant (ANPP) is supplied to Armenia from Russia in corpore. ANPP chief engineer Movses Vardanian told “Arka” agency today. In his words the fuel charging will be started in the nearest future and approximately in a month’s term the station will begin functioning. According to Russian sources, the nuclear fuel has been purchased by United Energetic Systems (UES) Russian joint-stock company, to the administration of which financial flows of the nuclear power plant will be passed. It should be noted that the ANPP has stood idle since April 4, 2003.
