ROMANIAN PRESIDENT LAID A WREATH TO THE MEMORIAL OF THE ARMENIAN GENOCIDE IN OTTOMAN TURKEY 1915

Today President of Romania Ion Iliescu, who is in Armenia on an official call, visited Tsitsernakaberd, where he laid a wreath to the memorial of the victims of the Armenian genocide in Ottoman Turkey 1915. The Romanian President also planted a tree in the memorial complex park and left a note in the memorial book of the Armenian Genocide Museum. Earlier, Iliescu visited Holy Echmiadzin, where he met with Catholicos of All Armenians Garegin II.
