A GROUP SECEDED FROM NATIONAL-DEMOCRATIC UNION FORMED A NEW PARTY

A group, which had seceded from the ranks of “National-Democratic Union” party, established a new political organisation, named “Liberal-Democratic Union of Armenia.” Deputy of the National Assembly Seyran Avagian is elected Chairman of its board. According to the information of “Arminfo” agency, today the party intends to submit all necessary documents to the Republic of Armenia Ministry of Justice for registration. The Liberal-Democratic Union of Armenia became the third splinter of the National-Democratic Union. First Chairman of the parliamentary commission on science, culture, education and youth affairs Shavarsh Kocharian together with his advocates left the party and registered a new one named National-Democratic Party. Then associates of Deputy of the National Assembly Arshak Sadoyan broke away and formed a party called National-Democratic Alliance.
