Armenian grandmaster Vladimir Akopian tied a game vs. Azerbaijan’s Shahriar Mamedyarov in the 4th round of Men’s Grand Prix under way in Astrakhan, Russia.
Akopian is currently the 12th with 1.5 points. Ukraine’s Ruslan Ponomariov tops the standings with 2.5 points.
In the 5th round, Vladimir Akopian will play vs. Vugar Gashimov, representing Azerbaijan.
