«Azerbaijan will hardly make any steps to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh problem with its own scenario. But if Baku brings itself to this, it will have only itself to blame», has stated the chief of the Armenian armed force general headquarter Mikael Arutyunyan, answering questions of journalists. «We fully realize that the tense situation in the world because of the US operations in Afghanistan also affects the situation in the region. That is why we do everything to strengthen our defense and security of our republic. We have to be ready for anything. In case of anything, our armed forces will do their duties very successfully», has stated the general. At the same time, as «CNA» agency informs, the chief of the headquarters has noted that he thinks there is no reason for Azerbaijan to make any sudden decisions to settle the Nagorno-Karabakh problem.
