NKR LEADERSHIP COUNTS ON ATTRACTION OF RUSSIAN INVESTMENTS

Yesterday NKR President Arkady Ghukasian received President of “Union of Armenians of Russia” Ara Abrahamian, Vice-President of that All-Russian organization Seyran Baghdasarian and famous political scientist from Russia Andranik Mihranian, who arrived in Stepanakert to participate in celebrations dedicated to the 1700-th anniversary of adoption of Christianity in Armenia. During the conversation Arkady Ghukasian stressed the leadership of the Republic attached much importance to attraction of private foreign capital to the country’s economy. In his words, all necessary conditions for that are created in Karabakh: both corresponding legal framework and favourable investment climate. NKR President emphasized he pined his special hopes on the Armenian community of Russia that possessed a huge potential and was able to make a significant contribution to development and strengthening of multilateral relations between Nagorno-Karabakh and Russia.
The day before President of Armenia Robert Kocharian received the leaders of the Union of Armenians, too. Let us remind that the delegation arrived from Moscow includes heads of the regional representations of the Union, Governors and Vice-Governors of a number of territories and districts of Russia, public representatives.
