ARMENIA RECEIVES RUSSIAN GAS AS USUAL

Armenia receives Russian gas in spite of the fact that «Itera» corporation has stated about the possibility of the gas supply stopping because of unpaid debts. The Armenian side explains the debt payment delay with the postponement of agreement signing terms with «Inter Contact» Ukrainian company on the acquisition of the «Nairit» enterprise 51% shares. «Nairit» debt for used gas is the main part of the Armenian debt to «Itera» corporation. According to the reached agreement, after the signing of the agreement on privatizing, Ukrainian company is to pay the «Nairit» debt.
