BAKU CONSIDERS CE SHOULD PARTICIPATE IN THE KARABAKH SETTLEMENT MORE ACTIVELY

Transferring the Karabakh settlement negotiation process to the Council of Europe level is inadmissible. This statement was made by Vice-Chairman of ruling “Eni Azerbaijan” party, head of the Azerbaijani delegation in the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe Ilham Aliev. In his words the negotiation process should proceed within the framework of OSCE Minsk Group. “Baku does not want OSCE to weaken its positions in the negotiation process,” – Aliev stated. “Nevertheless, is it necessary for the Council of Europe to become engaged in the Karabakh problem more actively,” – the Azerbaijani parliamentarian asserts.
