JACQUES CHIRAC: “ARMENIA ENJOYS THE SUPPORT OF INTERNATIONAL COMMUNITY, OF WHICH FRANCE WILL ALWAYS BE IN THE FIRST RANKS”

President of Armenia Robert Kocharian has received Chairman of French-Armenian friendship group of the French Senate, Senator Jack Uden, who delivered the congratulation message of President of the French Republic Jacques Chirac and Chairman of Senate Christian Poncelet on the occasion of the independence of Armenia. The message particularly says: “Let us congratulate you and the whole Armenian nation. On the one hand the year 2001 signifies the 1700-th anniversary of adoption of Christianity in Armenia, and on the other – entry into the Council of Europe. As you know Armenia enjoys the support of international community, of which France will always be in the first ranks. Please, receive assurance of my respect, Mr. President.”
