Meanwhile, Elina Daniyelyan tied her game vs. Sweden's Pia Cramling.
After the 8th round, Nana Dzagnidze tops the tournament standings with 7.5 points, followed by Russia's Tatiana Kosintseva – 6 points, and China's Hou Yifan – 5 points.
Lilit Mkrtchyan stepped down to the 4th place with 5 points, followed by Elina Daniyelyan – 4 points.
