“It is impossible for Armenia not to support antiterrorist actions. This is definite’, stated Armenia’s defense minister, Security Council chairman Serge Sarkisyan. While answering the question about possibility of Armenia’s support to Washington in case of its beginning of military operation against terrorism, the minister said, “I think today we have to support such actions necessarily”. At the same time he emphasized that making decisions regarding such questions is exceptional prerogative of Armenia’s President.
