Russia suggested rending out the operating energetic block of the Armenian Atomic Power Station on a long lease for the debts for nuclear fuel supplies. “Commersant” newspaper reports this referring to Russian Minister of Energy Igor Yusufov, who was included in the delegation accompanying President Vladimir Putin in course of his visit to Yerevan. Is case the Armenian side agrees Russia will undertake all costs related to the station. In the Minister’s opinion, this solution is first of all a political one, but it can also make economic profit. Yusufov added Russia was also ready to bring the second block to a condition of starting up and adjustment although the problem of electric power export arose at once.
