Russia will give Armenia nuclear fuel for $13.78 million for recharging the Armenian NPP. As “Arka” agency informs the agreement was reached at the negotiations of Armenia’s energy minister Karen Galustyan and Russian distributors. The fuel will be delivered to Armenia in 12-15 days after agreement signing. The $4 mln part of the payment will be made simultaneously with the distributions, and the rest $9.78 mln. will be paid for next 90 days. As regards the previous $16.95 mln debts for the distributed fuel, according to the agreements they will be restructured and paid till 2003″, is said in the press release spread by the government. It should be reminded that since July 10 the planned prophylactic activities have been implemented at the Armenian NPP.
