“RUSSIAN PRESS PHOTO-2003” INTERNATIONAL CONTEST LAUREATE PRESS PHOTOGRAPHER ARMEN ASATRIAN

“Izvestia” Russian newspaper press photographer Armen Asatrian became a laureate of “Russian Press Photo-2003” international contest. The authoritative jury which consisted of build-editors and press photographers from “Time” and “Ogonyok” magazines as well as from Associated Press agencies, had to choose the best photos and photo reports out of more than 5000 works sent by 305 photographers from Russia, the CIS and foreign countries.
