President of Russia Vladimir Putin addressed a congratulation letter on the occasion of the 47-th anniversary of the Armenian President’s birthday. Putin wished sound health to Robert Kocharian, welfare and progress in such crucial activity in the name of prosperity of the Armenian nation. “It is pleasant that development of Russian-Armenian multilateral cooperation contributes to strengthening the traditional feelings of mutual respect and friendship between our peoples,” – the message says. The Russian President noted that Russia highly appreciates the personal contribution of R.Kocharian “to reinforcement of the basis of the allied strategic partnership between Russia and Armenia”. The President of Russia also expressed his assurance that the forthcoming meeting in Yerevan will promote “further intensification of mutually beneficial brotherhood relations, centuries-old interaction in bilateral format as well as within the framework of the Commonwealth of Independent States and Treaty on Collective Security”.
