The final report of the observation mission of OSCE Democratic Institutions and Human Rights Office on the Armenian parliamentary election will be promulgated in July, meanwhile an intermediate report will be published until this time. Before leaving Armenia mission head Robert Barry said at the final meeting in the Armenian Central Election Commission. In his words, a certain progress as compared to the recent presidential election was fixed during the parliamentary one. At the same time the mission head emphasized the necessity of inserting some amendments in the state electoral legislation. He also informed the CEC members that several mission members would stay in Armenia for some more days with the purpose of observing the by-election to be held June 14-15 in three constituencies where the election was declared invalid.
