Victor Martirosyan, the director of Ecologic Programs Center at Armenian Ministry of Nature Protection, presented Clean Motherland national program at September 14 news conference.
As he pointed out, the program aims to increase environmental awareness among the youth, uniting the Armenian public around nature protection issues.
“Organizations, agreeing to show initiative in program-related issues will be offered governmental support,” Martirosyan noted.
Clean Motherland national program was approved at August 19 governmental sitting. The program aims at improving legislative field in order to more effectively employ the means for environmental cleansing and protection.
