ROBERT KOCHARIAN RECEIVED EXTRAORDINARY AND PLENIPOTENTIARY AMBASSADOR OF US TO ARMENIA

Yesterday President of Armenia Robert Kocharian received Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of US to Armenia Michael Lemmon. As reported by “Arka” agency, they discussed questions connected with Armenian-American relations. Besides, R.Kocharian and M.Lemmon concerned the matter of the Karabakh settlement, discussed the meeting of the Presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan during the informal summit of the heads of states participants of CIS on 1-3 August.
Let us note that the term of office of M.Lemmon, who has held it for the past three years, expires at the end of August this year. John Ordway, who has worked as second official at the American Embassy in Russia, is nominated Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of US to Armenia.
