Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan said that the cooperation with Ukraine in economic, political and humanitarian fields is among Armenia’s priorities.
“Enjoy long-lasting relations, we will double and, maybe, even triple turnover within several years,” he told Profile Ukrainian magazine.
“Our turnover totals about $300mln. Many Ukrainian products, which could be in demand in Armenia and Armenian goods, which would present interest for Ukraine, are not available for us,” President Sargsyan said, explaining the gap by insufficient efforts.
Referring to how Ukraine may facilitate the establishment of a long-term peace and stability in the region, he said that the only way is an unbiased neutral stance, as well as development of economic relations.
