In the first half year oil-producing plants in Azerbaijan could realize 3 million tons of oil products at the domestic and foreign markets, which is 9% less compared to the same period of the year 2000. As the report of the National State Committee on Statistics notes, 69% of output of oil-producing plants was sold at the local market and only 31% was exported abroad, mainly to Iran. Compared to the indicators for the same period in 2000, the volume of oil product supply to the local market is 20% reduced.
