Armenian Prime Minister Tigran Sargsyan said that the CIS countries’ governments currently deal with assessment of the results of anti-crises measures implemented within the CIS.
“From this point of view, I would like to divide the issues of our interest: increase in efficiency of control chambers’ activity and peculiarities of government’s activity under crisis conditions,” said Sargsyan at the 10th session of heads of the Financial Control Bodies of the CIS member-states, entitled: “Role of Superior Control Bodies in Management of Socio-Economic Processes.”
Sargsyan added that increase in efficiency of control chambers activity facilitates fruitful work of governments, allowing more efficient usage of financial resources and reduction of corruption risks.
According to the Armenian Prime Minister, governments’ activity under crisis conditions stands out for immediacy of decisions and their implementation.
“As a result of works immediacy, we have to bypass some formalities, what often results in growth of corruption risks. From this point of view, the logics of anti-crisis measures should be clear for control chambers,” said Sargsyan, adding that control chambers interference in all these processes will allow reducing corruption risks.
