The RA State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition (SCPEC) fined Lusakert poultry factory at the total amount of AMD 5mln for the absence of labeling on eggs produced by the factory.
On July 28, the SCPEC made liable five egg-producing companies, including Lusakert poultry factory, for the unlabeled output. The companies were instructed to eliminate the violations within 20 days.
On August 30, another monitoring was conducted, which revealed that all the companies, except for Lusakert poultry, have eliminated the violations.
Taking this into consideration, the SCPEC decided to fine the factory at the amount of AMD 500,000 for each type of unlabeled output, as well as AMD 500,000 for untimely provision of information during the works on elimination of violations, as well as AMD 1mln for non-fulfillment of the SCPEC decision on time.
