THE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE WORLD BANK HAS EXPRESSED HIS SATISFACTION WITH THE ARMENIA MACROECONOMIC SITUATION

Today at the press conference in Yerevan vice-president of the World Bank for Europe and Central Asia Johannes Linn has expressed his satisfaction with the macroeconomic situation in Armenia. According to Linn, since his last visit to Armenia in 1997, in the country positive changes has occurred, the reforms in important fields of the economics were implemented. Linn has pointed out that at the moment, 13 programs for the total sum of $270 million are in the process of realization. He has also pointed out that the World Bank is satisfied with the results of the conference on investments in Armenia, that took place in New York, and the meeting of the countries-donors in Paris.
