It was solved the cadre question at the exceptional meeting of “ArmRosgazprom” directors held on Saturday in Moscow. The chairman of the administrative board and at the same time the director general was appointed the deputy minister of energy of Armenia Karen Karapetian, who had been the director council member. Ex-director of the company Roland Adonts was dismissed “according to personal application”. Instead of Karapetyan the “ArmRosgazprom” director council member was elected the Armenia energy deputy minister Ashot Mnatsakanyan. The problems of the company difficult economic and financial situation connected with chronic defaults in payment for the gas consumed by the enterprises of Armenia economics state sector were discussed at the meeting. According to 1 July 2001 situation, the bill receivable of the gas consumers was more than $ 30 million.
