ARMENIAN AUTHORITIES ARE NOT CONNECTED WITH CREATION OF “RECONCILIATION COMMISSION”

President Robert Kocharyan was aware of the initiative of creating of so called “Armenian-Turkish Reconciliation Commission”. President’s Press-Secretary Vahe Gabrielyan informed the correspondent of “Noyan Tapan” about this. He emphasized that the Armenian leadership did not create obstacles to creation of the Commission, considering that Armenian-Turkish contacts on different levels can be useful. At the same time Gabrielyan noted that the Armenian authorities were not connected with formation of the Commission and “did not discuss any questions, concerning proposing candidates”.
