The government of Russia has made a decision to render humanitarian aid to Armenia in connection with the drought in 2000. According to “Arka” agency information, toward this end 33 million rubles from the reserve funds of the government will be allotted for the buying of the winter wheat seeds that will be send to Armenia as aid. The ministry on emergencies is entrusted to deliver the seeds to Armenia with the route Krasnodar- Ilchevsk-Poti-Yerevan.
