Head of the National Center of Technical Security at the RA Ministry of Emergency Situations Ashot Petrosyan said that, first, enterprise’s leadership is responsible for provision of technical security.
According to Petrosyan, the National Center of Technical Security has no control functions.
“Instead of it, it examines technical security at the most dangerous enterprises of the country once a year,” Petrosyan told journalists. “During such examinations, we point to existing shortages, which should be eliminated by enterprises’ leadership.”
Referring to the situation with technical security in Armenia, Petrosyan noted that those enterprises, which follow the law requirements, have no problems with technical security. He added that the number of accidents decreases in Armenia from year to year.
“Currently, a structure is being established at the Ministry of Emergency Situations, which will have powers of establishing control over the level of Armenian enterprises technical security,” Petrosyan said.
