FOREIGN MINISTRY OF ARMENIA AND NATO PREPARING TO JOINT MILITARY EXERCISE

. Armenia is preparing to joint military exercise with NATO in 2003 entitled “Best Effort”. Secretary of Security Council under the President of Armenia, Minister of Defense Serge Sargsian stated this. He noted that regards it necessary to conduct joint military drill in Armenia within the framework of NATO’s “Partnership for Peace” program. “We consider cooperation as an important element of our military doctrine and see a big potential in the field of liquidation of special situations and holding peacemaking operations,” – S.Sargsian said.
