The Union of Armenians of Russia (UAR) is one of the country’s leading public organizations, UAR President said.
“In 1999, we have united about 300 Armenian organizations throughout Russia to create the Union in 2000,” Ara Abrahamyan told a news conference in Yerevan on October 18.
“We do our best to preserve Armenian national identity, culture and faith and keep in close touch with the Armenian Apostolic Church,” he said
Abrahamyan also noted that Moscow Armenians will collaborate with the new Mayor, whoever elected to the post.
