CHIPS USED IN MICROELECTRONICS WILL BE SCHEMED IN YEREVAN

. The Yerevan firm ‘Aramast, engaged in high technology sphere, has been ordered the schiming of the semiconducting chips that will be produced in Taiwan. Gagik Arzumanyan, the company director has pointed out that the formal program preparing will be completed in 1-2 months. It should be mentioned that according to ‘Arka’agency information, the first production volume could exceed $10 million. Vahram Muradyan, one of the ‘Amarast’ shareholders, speaking about the possibility of the chip producing in Armenia, has pointed out that ‘the realization of such a project is not real in present situation. According to his words, $ 2 billion would be necessary for the corresponding producing facility providing.
It should be mentioned that ‘Aramast’ is the affiliate company of the American company with the same name. The shares of the company belong to Vahram Muradyan, the American businessman with Armenian origin, Khachatur Sukasyan, the head of ‘Sil Group’ concern and an investor from the USA.
