YEREVAN STATE UNIVERSITY IS ADMITTED AS THE MOST “PRESTIGIOUS” INSTITUTE IN ARMENIA

. Information-analytic portal “Gazeta SNG” and the Fund of new independent country studies have announced the results of the rating-poll among the specialists in the high education sphere and also among applicants for admission to institutes and their parents from 12 CIS countries. “Prestige”, as it is mentioned in “Gazeta SNG” information, has been found out taking into consideration two criterions: the first one is the popularity of the institute among applicants for admission to institutes, and the second is the international publicity of the institute. The publication also mentions that jurisprudence and economics have been remained the most popular specialties for several years.
Yerevan State University has been admitted the most “prestigious” institute in Armenia. The second one is Yerevan Medical University and the third is American University of Armenia. The whole pattern of Russia institutes is in this way: Moscow State University, RF Finance Academy, Plekhanov Academy of National Economy, Sankt-Petersbourg State University, Moscow State Law Academy. In Azerbaijan, Baku State University, Azerbaijani International University, Academy of State Governing are the most popular. In Georgia, they are Tbilisi State Medical University and Tbilisi State University.
