. The delegation of Armenia will soon leave for Spain and Sweden to negotiate with the leaders of “Union Fenosa” and “ABB Energy Ventures” companies. The delegation includes Minister of Energy Karen Galustian, Minister of Justice David Harutyunian, Chairman of the commission on energetics Vardan Movsisian. According to the information given by “Snark” agency, the visits of the high-ranking government officials to Madrid and Stockholm pursue the purpose of persuading the leaders of the above mentioned companies of participating in the contest on privatization of the electricity distribution enterprises of Armenia. As it is known, the contest announced before failed due to absence of applications. Preliminary applications for participation in the contest had been submitted by four foreign companies with “Union Fenosa” and “ABB Energy Ventures” among them.
