On October 26, the 19th Tariff Conference kicked off in Tashkent to discuss the new method for determination of the optimal level of tariffs for cargo transportation in cars and containers for the CIS countries.
During the conference, representatives of railroad administration of the CIS countries plan to adopt a common tariff policy, which will be developed in a hard currency based on common principles and will set the maximum level of rates for the next freight year for each railroad administration.
Spokesperson of the South Caucasus Railways (SCR) Vahe Davtyan told a PanARMENIAN.Net reporter that Armenia is represented at the conference in Uzbekistan by Head of the Premium Transport Service Department of the SCR Ilya Kelperev.
