On October 24, Armenia’s Syunik province governor Suren Khachatryan and passengers of the Wings of Tatev, the world's longest reversible aerial tramway, had to stop halfway through the trip.
As the National Competitiveness Foundation of Armenia (NCFA) told PanARMENIAN.Net, festive events, including a tramway trip, were organized on October 24. However, unfavourable weather conditions prevented the trip, with a security system activating itself under conditions of high humidity.
“This proves that security system is operating without failure,” NCFA reported.
