Office Saadat Oweisse has told this during the forum dedicated to communication and high technologies problems, which opened in Yerevan yesterday. According to his words, over 20 companies operating in Armenia specialize in the area of information technologies and cooperate with foreign partners. At the same time O.Saadat emphasized that Armenia “should modernize its achievements in the field of information technologies if it does not want to lose its potential”. In this concern he informed that at present the WB is working at a project in order to render aid to small-scale and medium-scale enterprises operating in the area of information technologies. “The program will contribute to further employment of students,” – the head of the WB Yerevan Office said. Creation of the Centre of Information Technologies is envisaged within the framework of the project. A business centre, equipped with modern facilities providing connection to the external world, will start functioning attached to the Centre.
