As CAN informs, the co-chairmen, being based on the results of the region visit taken place in May, 2001 and the discussion, that George Bush, Vladimir Putin and Jak Shriek had, examined the current situation, developing negotiations continued in Paris and Qui West with the participation of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, exchanged the opinions about the further work in the field of conflict settlement. It was reached an agreement on the taking a number of joint steps in the Kharabakh conflict settlement intermediation. Today the co-chairmen will meet the OBSE chairman, the minister of foreign affairs of Romania, Mircha Joane in Bucharest. They will inform him about the current situation and next events, connected with the peace process. They are also planning to visit the region in the first part of June.
