Armenian Minister of Transport and Communication Manuk Vardanyan visited Gyumri and Vanadzor to familiarize himself on the spot with the works carried out.
Minsiter Vardanyan, accompanied by Director of South Caucasus Railways (SCR) CJSC Shevket Shaydullin, stopped at Masis and Dalarik stations prior to his arrival in Gyumri to observe the implemented rehabilitation works.
The Minister stressed that the works implemented this year are evident; work directions for 2011 have been decided, Dilijan, Ijevan and Sevan sections have been studied, as well as the volume of needed funds have been defined already.
Referring to problems of Sanahin depot, Vardanyan noted that the head of the SCR has officially stated none of employees will be dismissed.
